Recreational Soccer Program Overview
Teams are formed from players in Menomonee Falls and the surrounding areas. Players are placed on teams based on birth year (see registration page for more details). We welcome any interested player to sign up. We encourage multi-sport athletes to play soccer!
Falls Kickers teams are led by volunteer parent coaches. Falls Kickers pays for coaches to become Y1 level licensed coaches through the Wisconsin Youth Soccer Association. Practice plans are supplied by the Milwaukee Kickers Soccer Club to provide the framework for player development based on age. Coaches work closely with our Director of Coaching to adjust practice plans in order to support and challenge our players as the season goes on.
Registration includes participation in a Fall and a Spring season (at least 16 games total).
The Fall season typically starts towards the end of August and finishes in late October or early November. The Spring season typically starts in April and finishes in early June.
These start 1-2 weeks before the start of the season. Expect practices to be 1-2 times during the week.
Each team plays around 8 outdoor games per season through the Milwaukee Kickers leagues. Games are scheduled for weekends. Away games take place at nearby communities.
Teams are encouraged to participate in local tournaments as well. Tournaments are optional. This is an additional fee not included in registration.
Winter Indoor and Futsal leagues are available at several different locations to interested teams. Winter games are optional. This is an additional fee not included in registration.
Every player receives a uniform consisting of a jersey, shorts and socks. This is used for both the Fall and Spring seasons. Players will be required to wear shinguards and appropriate footwear for all practices and games.
